The Big Fresno Fair, already well-known locally, aimed to make an impact and stand out on social media.
Our goal was to increase reach and engagement on our Instagram and Facebook accounts by creating compelling video content that highlighted the best things about the Fair.
To achieve our reach goal, we focused on creating shareable content by highlighting individual fairgoers, featuring food vendors, and incorporating trending, relevant audio.
For example, a simple Instagram Reel of students lining up to enter our raffle during the 4.0 & Above Rally garnered over 200 thousand plays.
Apart from the Fair being a successful event, it also flourished on social media.
Over 27 million people saw our posts during the 12 days of the 2023 Big Fresno Fair across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
The fair's Instagram account grew by over 3,000 followers in that same time period. We achieved this through shareable content, consistent stories, and community interaction.
